A 360 degree panorama of the Martian landscape combined from 817 photos taken the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity has been released by NASA. The photos were taken while the rover was stationary on the rim of the Endeavour Crater for four months during the most recent Martian winter. Presented in false colour many interesting details such as the rovers tracks and the dust that has accumulated on the rover can be spotted in the image.
Further details and full resolution image can be found on the NASA website. The Opportunity Rover has been sending data back from Mars since January 2004.
